Dahlgren Design Build Inc. (DDB) is a full-service residential remodeling and design firm. Our jobs range from small to medium-large; and from simple to very complex. While all jobs require attention to detail, we always tailor our services to the needs of the specific project.

Design Work

Full drawing sets from schematics to working drawings to obtaining the permits. Our in-house architect can do it all. Being both the architect and builder, DDB can ensure that the design doesn’t stretch your budget.
Design-lite. For simpler renovations not requiring permit drawings, we can provide sketches to turn your ideas into something concrete that can actually be built.
Outside designers. If your project already has an architect, we are happy to collaborate, cooperate, or to simply submit our bid on the drawings like any other contractor.

Construction, Framing to Finishes

To maintain quality control, DDB minimizes the number of subcontractors on the job by keeping crews small with DDB principals onsite at almost all times. We do our own plumbing and electrical, framing and finishes, even tile work and radiant heat work. The subcontractors we do use are trusted individuals with good references and professional standards. Given our design background, we are easily able to resolve design questions in the field.

No job too small or too unusual

Variety is the spice of life, and we don’t mind changing the pace from high end kitchen remodels to decks, fences, or other more rustic projects. We also enjoy a challenge and can work within unusual constraints to come up with a creative solution to your difficult or non-standard project. Although we focus on residential projects, we welcome interesting commercial or industrial projects that require a high level of design and craftsmanship.
